Introduction

Habitage ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use the App.

The short version: your data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don't collect, track, or share anything.

1. Information Collection

1.1 We Do Not Collect Your Data

Habitage does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal information. This includes:

• No user analytics or usage statistics
• No crash reports or diagnostic data sent to us
• No personal identifiers or device information
• No location data or network information
• No advertising identifiers or tracking

1.2 Local Storage Only

All data you create within the App — habits, completions, streaks, achievement progress, and settings — remains exclusively on your device. This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.

1.3 iCloud Sync

Habitage automatically syncs your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework when iCloud is enabled on your device:

• Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, not on our servers
• We have no access to your iCloud data
• Syncing is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
• You can disable iCloud for Habitage in your device's Settings (Apple ID > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud)
• Disabling iCloud keeps your data local to each device

1.4 Local Notifications

Habitage may request permission to send local notifications for habit reminders. These notifications are:

• Scheduled and delivered entirely on your device
• Never sent through our servers — we have no push notification infrastructure
• Fully controlled by you — you can disable them in the app's settings or in your device's notification settings

1.5 On-Device Keychain

Habitage stores a small piece of non-personal data (trial start date) in your device's Keychain for subscription management. This data never leaves your device and is protected by your device's hardware security.

2. Third-Party Services

2.1 Apple App Store & StoreKit

All subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely through Apple's native StoreKit framework. Payment information is managed by Apple and is never shared with us. Apple's privacy policy is available at apple.com/privacy.

2.2 No Other Third Parties

Habitage does not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, subscription management services, social media SDKs, or other third-party services that access your data.

3. Data Security

Since we do not collect or have access to your data, the security of your information depends on your device's built-in security. We recommend:

• Keeping your device and iOS updated
• Using a strong passcode or biometric authentication
• Enabling iCloud encryption if you use sync

4. Children's Privacy

Habitage does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13. All data remains locally stored on the user's device or in their personal iCloud account.

5. Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data, there is no personal information to access, correct, or delete from our servers. All your data is under your complete control:

• Delete your data: Remove the app from your device to delete all local data
• Opt out of sync: Disable iCloud sync at any time in your device's Settings (Apple ID > iCloud)

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
